Access to resources and programs that are readily available in urban areas often never make it to our rural area. The High Sierra Energy Foundation does our best to connect our residents and businesses with programs that benefit our region and our planet.

Southern California Regional Energy Network (SoCalREN) Public Agency Programs

The Southern California Regional Energy Network (SoCalREN) Public Agency Programs offer customized support and resources to help public agencies save energy, save money, and lead their communities on the pathway to zero net energy and greater sustainability.

The High Sierra Energy Foundation is proud to partner with SoCalREN to bring their suite of services to the Eastern Sierra region, including Inyo and Mono Counties. We’re leveraging our local knowledge and relationships with public agencies in the Eastern Sierra to bring SoCalREN’s no-cost support on energy efficiency, demand response and water-saving projects to our communities.

Together, we’ll ensure SoCalREN’s highly valued programs are accessible for public agencies, especially those supporting underserved and hard-to-reach communities, in Inyo and Mono counties.

SoCalREN’s core services for public agencies include:

  • Energy project management support

  • Technical support

  • Access to funding and financing

  • Financial analysis and support

  • Procurement

  • Cash incentives

  • Network services (peer learning within our public agency network)

SoCalREN also offers programs for residents and businesses which public agencies can leverage for the benefit of their communities. We’re excited to grow this new partnership over time to better serve our region. Learn more about the benefits SoCalREN and High Sierra Energy Foundation are offering together at socalren.org!
