EARTH WEEK 2021

High Sierra Energy Foundation and Mammoth Disposal/Bishop Waste are partnering with a wide array of community groups to provide a curated schedule of events to celebrate Eastern Sierra Earth Week. The week of regional activities from Saturday, April 17 to Sunday, April 25, will focus on:

  1. Waste and Recycling

  2. Energy Conservation and Electric Vehicles

  3. Mountain Culture & Arts

  4. Responsible Tourism & Stewardship

  • More trails equate to more designated space to build that relationship with the outdoors and teach and learn Leave No Trace

  • Promote major trail connectivity throughout the US to make the outdoors accessible to all, connecting ALL communities to their natural resources which in turn will deepen the reach of the messaging of living lower impact lives for all.

  • Support making trails all-inclusive, accessibility whether it’s for a few hours, days, weeks, or more!
